National Night Out

NNO14 logo.png
On Tuesday, October 6, 2015 neighborhoods throughout the City of Pflugerville will join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the 31st Annual National Night Out Crime and Drug Prevention Event. National Night Out is supported by the National Association of Town Watch and in part by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Office of Justice Programs and the U.S. Department of Justice.

Organize a Block Party - It's Easy to Do!
  • Get together and decide on a place. One or two families can plan and rotate each year
  • Send out a flyer/email/poster to your neighbors
  • Register your party with the Pflugerville Police Department so police, city officials and other emergency personnel can visit your party!
  • Everyone brings snacks, drinks, hot dogs or just yourselves
  • Gather on National Night Out at the designated spot
  • Get to know your neighbors and have a BLAST!
Applications will be available here by August 1, 2015.

Thanks to your hard work and commitment in the past, the State of Texas has won the National Night Out State Category Award every year and the City of Pflugerville has been recognized nationally for the last several years.

Send us materials on your NNO Party
Send a copy of the neighborhood National Night Out material used to promote the event in your neighborhood (flyers, newsletters, photographs, videos,  etc.) to the Police Department. Your contribution could make a difference in Texas being judged number one in the nation again, as well as Pflugerville receiving a National award!  We love pictures - please make sure they include National Night Out 2015 Sign or Flyer in them!

Help strengthen law enforcement and citizen contact. Your cooperation makes our community a safer place to live.
